Costa's suspension initially made me question Chelsea's ability without him and Remy has never fully inspired confidence but one of those games is against Newcastle who are a total shambles at the moment and shouldn't provide any resistance which will allow Remy to get a full Premier League game and prepare for the more physical challenge that Southampton will provide. Costa has not been as effective as I would expect so far this season and to be fair that is more down to the midfield not getting the ball in to his feet quick enough and he has had to come very deep to get involved. This is not a strategy that will work with Remy and I'm curious how Chelsea will adapt over these two games, especially with an away trip to Porto sandwiched in the middle. Hazard will have to take on a more attacking role which will leave a bigger gap in the middle to be exploited by Southamptons quick counter attack.

The press are really going after Mourinho with a vengeance over Eva. To be fair Hazard was on the ground for a prolonged period of time and Mourinho's first duty of care should be to his players welfare. I have lost a lot of respect for him over this and his stubborn attitude in general. The atmosphere around the club and with the players does not appear to be good and as she was there for 5 years a lot of the players with have a good connection with her and of course they have to be wondering about themselves in Hazards situation. This could result in a bigger problem between Mourinho and the dressing room which could cost us points on the pitch.
