Sick of these lies! Chelsea always taking Wolves North Bank is a lie!
Read a lot of the posts and thanks for the usual rubbish "let it go", "idiot" etc etc. 4 pages of mainly abusive answers. Where is the truth guys? Why doesn't one of your main guys from the times, come on and tell the truth? Why should I let it go, you guys don't, your always banging on about when you were great and what ends you took in the 70/80s, you even write books about it Carshalnton blue even wrote "I notice you've forgot to mention that Chelsea were all over your pitch in 1976/77 in our promotion game." So what, you were on the pitch, so were we, nothing much happened until around the streets afterwards and I certainly remember we gave as good as we got considering the amount of old bill. I don't think you did much considering your great numbers and great reputation. You should have had us away shouldn't you? Also, you lot just can't get over the fact that you aren't rated as top dogs by anyone. N0-one ever states you as number one, from what I saw of you, I would put West Ham, Millwall & Spurs ahead of you and that's just London. I gather it hurts but hey, that's what folks think. Then you have Man Utd, Liverpool, Leeds, Birmingham, Forest all far worse places to go for us minor mobs then the Bridge. Yes, I agree, we were sh*** away from the Midlands, but that's not the issue. The Issue is did Chelsea keep taking the Wolves north bank? The answer is no. Once only when they knew it wasn't the mob end anymore, then disappeared into the cold night when the real Wolves mob came after them. Why didn't you wait outside the South Bank for us, I can only leave that to you to answer. The other question is what is taking an end anyway. I would suggest it's being in at the start having removed the home fans and either being removed by old bill or still being in at the end. Neither of this was achieved on this night. Yes, you went into the North Bank 15 mins before the end and created mayhem (women & children crushed trying to get away) but you didn't actually remove the home fans and you weren't in their at the start or end of the match, so technically it was a more an infringement of the terrace. So come on , you big hard Chelsea men of the 70/80s where where you when we came for you?

Sick of these lies! Chelsea always taking Wolves North Bank is a lie!
One of the posts stated "no one cares" but it would seem rather different in reality. Of course people care, especially the sad old b********* like me. Hey, hope I haven't offended Chelsea's old guard, coz your right in what you say, you always turned up at our place, but we didn't turn up at yours apart from 76 when we took your north stand (we didn't of course unless we use the Chelsea adage of "if your in an end, you must have taken it") 74/80 Wolves were quite formidable at home, which was a surprise to many including Leeds (who were massacred in the South Bank 1976, cardiff, liverpool, and many others (West Ham, toe to toe action, no-one moved all match-best I've seen in the South Bank) all had tough times in there and were glad to get away. Agreed we didn't go to London much apart from Arsenal in the cup 78 when you lot turned up in the clock end. There was no action there part from Arsenal turning up outside where there were minor skirmishes. Don't know what happened to your lot. Anyway, my whole point is why doesn't everyone be honest about what happened, what glory is there in telling lies, for example, we took 3000 to Forest 76 and got absolutely hammered, and I personally didn't think I would get home that day, never seen anything like at the time or since, although we got murdered at Man Utd in the cup 76 (who didn't though) before we even got into the ground. So there you go, the one and only time you were ever in the North Bank (where the women & kids where) was when you cowardly decided to take on the women there rather than the lads next to you in the South Bank. Just telling it like it is! Always hated you lot though, I pray you go down this season. It would be almost better than man utd going down in the 70's, especially with the always arrogant Mourino moaning all the way to his 10m pay off! I think the problem with you lot is you will always be 4th best in London, fanwise obviously, behind West Ham, Millwall, Spurs and I think that really hurts you. Don't know why but it does. Thanks for listening to me, after telling the truth about that, think I can rest easy now, been bugging me for 38 years so feels good getting off my chest. I've done the Leeds forum where they spouted same sort of rubbish, so suppose I'll go see other idiots are saying such. Bye

It wasn't me who started talking about the old days, it was your guy who started the thread. You didn't seem to mind him posting a load of lies! At least me posting as wound you lot up. It's a pleasure to put you right at last. 38 years your pathetic attack as annoyed me for and it's a pleasure to finally get the story out. Hey, think I will sign up to other forums and let them all know the truth of the cowardly Chelsea boys: Especially as your other forum discusses ALL the times the SHED was taken, West Ham ok, but Arsenal? Seriously? http://forums.cfcnet.co.uk/topic/32798-the-original-shed/page-2 And another lie about how you took the stretford end, answered by someone who was there at http://redtwins.com/?p=266 If you ain't bothered don't read it, simples! But I bet you will, happy days

Oh and I forgot to mention, we all know West Ham and even Arsenal used to take the Shed on many occasions, so get off your high horses. You might have been decent them days, but even you weren't impenetrable were you now, lol. I mean Arsenal, c'mon, what's all that about?

Sick of these lies! Chelsea always taking Wolves North Bank is a lie!
There's a thread on here about taking ends in the 60s/70s http://www.theshedend.com/topic/21797-how-many-home-ends-you-been-in/ In this thread it's stated that..... Wolves (North Bank) - 'We're the boys in royal blue, we took Molineux' used to echo around the Bridge in the early 70's, as we nearly always took a mob into their end and took it. The exception was the 76/77 game which we were banned from, but we took a huge mob up there anyway and the police had to put us in the South Bank to keep us off the streets. Big ruck at HT in the bar, then another on the pitch afterwards (thanks to the police for that one, both sets of fans were celebrating promotion together before the old bill stepped in for no good reason). Well, as a self confessed Wolves fanatic and quite partial to a bit of Argy-Bargy in my younger years I think it's time we put the record straight. The one and only time Chelsea ever came into the North Bank was a particularly cowardly event in the 77/78 season. From 74 onwards the Wolves mob where in the South Bank and this particular night, we were situated right next to each other. So what did the brave lads of Chelsea do 15 before the end. They left the South Bank to confront......the old men, kids and women of the North Bank! It wasn't even a "taking", you just caused mayhem and confusion and many people were crushed that night, kids & women! In all my years I have seen great mobs and Chelsea were a decent mob, but that night they crossed the line and decended into a pathetic bunch of cowards! Most older Wolves guys think it was the most cowardly act they ever saw. You probably don't rate Wolves these days, but I can tell you the South Bank was quite well respected, ask Leeds about their boxing day massacre of Boxing day 77. So No, you didn't take the North Bank every year, but yes, you were cowardly once when it was full of old men and women & kids. So stop the lying. No-one took the Wolves North Bank from what I remember, although as I say, after 74, it would have been liking taking candy from a baby. No one took the South Bank either after Wolves relocated there in 74. In 78 the fence went up and we were segregated, but the 4 years in between gave you lot ample opportunity to take it, but you never did. No-one did. I have also had this problem with West Ham saying they took the North Bank and again, it's a lie. I just don't see the point of bigging yourselves up with lies, so someone pass this onto the Shed history forum, as it's restricted to me.
