The funny thing is people on here seem to forget that the premier league has levelled out beyond imagination. I read the same reasoning on here as i do on the manchester united, arsenal or liverpool forums. "Our club is too great to be just third after Guus took over" "His substitutions are aweful, i can't see the master tactician at all". You should realise that if a relegation club like newcastle can buy a player like Wijnaldum, everyone is going to drop points against eachother since all the players are kind of equal skillwise. There are so many factors involved in a result and so many of them are down to chance. Reality is that Guus is performing amazingly right now, and with a little more luck would have performed the best out of all premier league clubs.

Hi all, I'm a dutch Chelsea fan and created an account just to post this. Honestly i cannot see why you would want a different manager. In the Netherlands, Guus Hiddink is seen as the best of the best. The cream of the crop. The pick of the litter. The Don Corleone of football trainers and a tactical genius. Famous for knowing the strengths, but mainly the weaknessess of his AND the oppositions squad. Not only is he a great people person and knows how to trigger key players but he is also among the most intelligent men out there. Combining this with his impressive resumé and his quick turnaround of the current Chelsea squad makes me wonder why most of you say he needs to go during the summer. Is it because he is too old? Not flashy enough? Not a clown like van Gaal? Sorry for being a little biased since i also support PSV Eindhoven, but i'd like to know your opinions on why he wouldn't suffice in the long term.
