miles got a reaction from erskblue in away days chelsea here chelsea there chelsea every f....... whereAm new to this site, but am loving the old memories.
I remember a QPR away game midweek in I think 1980 in the old 2nd Div. I was 13 years old, it was my first away game, told my mum I was nipping out to meet a mate and watch TV !
We obviously packed out the away end, but before kick off weren't quite sure how many other Chels were in the ground. In those days the teams ran out individually, home team first. As the QPR team ran out, what seemed like the the whole ground erupted with "who the f*****g hell are you ?" When Chelsea ran out we could see that their whole home end was basically Chelsea. As a Chelsea mad kid at their first away game I loved it !
