  1. Hi guys and girls, I have been a Chelsea fan since 1967 due to a loose connection with Bobby Tambling and a summer training session in Portsmouth when I was a lad. Anyway and not to bore you all, Chelsea have been MY team for donkeys years through thick and thin. Favourite players were of course Bobby Tambling, Charlie Cooke, Peter Osgood, Peter Bonetti, Chopper Harris, Eddie McCreadie (cos he played in my position as a lad) then onto the Dave Webb's and Ian Hutchinson, Clint Dempsey, Alan Hudson. Kerry Dixon, Jimmy Floyd, Zola (the man), JT, Dan Petrescu, Lamps, Cashly and Drogs. Now we have David Luiz (again), Hazard and Dave Azp who could make the grade to fans legends. I am sure some other old boys on here will remind me of those I have omitted but I assure you it is not through anything other than piss poor memory lads. The last competitive live game I will be attending will the FA Cup final when we do the Gooners as I am retiring end of June and nipping off to Thailand to live and spread the word of God's own team. We are very big out there but there are too many United, Barca and Real Madrid shirts going on for my liking and these people need educating!
  2. Sorry Tone I don't go to the Ladies games or youth games (any more) due to work commitments, so I don't know the answer to that. I would doubt it but you could telephone the club or email them with your question. As another thought concerning all of your boys support, why not think of taking them to see some of the youth games. I used to go (a few seasons ago) and the standard of football is excellent. The teams play in Chelsea colour's (of course) and play the same formation (mainly) as the first team. Whatever, and with the increased capacity for the rebuild, the club will be happy to hear from you and the boys with any queries mate.
  3. I think Bakayoko is awesome and Chelsea should go all out to get him. He is a far better player and DM'er than Naingollan. Bakayoko also reminds me of a young Yaya Toure but a better defender than Toure. At only 22 I would love to see him coached and brought on by Conte. Considering the defensive set up Conte brought in and developed for Juve before taking the Italian national team, I am so looking forward to this summer and seeing how Conte develops OUR defence. I hope Bakayoko is our equal number one target along with a Costa replacement (if he does go). Personally I hope it is Moratta and not Lukaku as I think the latter is over rated, over hyped and over priced.
  4. Sorry pal but you will have no chance getting 4 season ticket seats together for next season. As it is you will get all of the 'plastics' come out of the woodwork for next term snapping up any individual seats as we have just won the title (again). My advice would be to take your lads to some of the away games by official coach as you know you will be among friends (if you are concerned about their safety) and you know you will be in the allocated Chelsea seats at grounds. You and they will all get your Chelsea 'fix' by at least going to some live games albeit away from SB. If you attend a Stamford Bridge tour with the club you could find out the latest on the rebuild and how you can get all of your names down for the increased capacity for season tickets. You will still be behind existing season ticket holders and those on the waiting list for specific seating areas. Good luck and KTBFFH
