Hey guys! I hail from New York originally (currently living in Boston) and I’ve been a Blues supporter for about 8 years now. I didn’t fully appreciate the beauty of football until I started playing FIFA in college, but I immediately adopted Chelsea as my favorite team. I was mostly drawn to the amazing skill/power/size combo of Didier Drogba who remains my favorite player. Some other favorites over the years include Lampard, Cech, Mata, Hazard and as my username suggests, Malouda. Best moment as a Chelsea fan so far was easily the champions league final against Bayern - that header by Drogba was out of this world!
I will be visiting London for the first time next month. I am really hoping to catch the game against Liverpool while I’m there. I’ve been doing my research and have come to understand how incredibly difficult it is to get an affordable ticket, especially for an opponent like that. If I get a season membership, is there any chance I would find a ticket on ticket exchange over the next month? I’m guessing the odds are slim for that game. If not, will I have any luck checking a resale market at the last minute? I understand scalping as we call it is illegal over there. If tickets are hard to come by, what bar would you suggest watching the game in?
Thanks for the help guys. I know there is a ticket request thread but I am not allowed to post there yet, and I wanted to introduce myself anyway. Looking forward to my visit and possibly meeting some of you. Go Blues!
