See some people saying his lack of forward play watching the tournament is a turn off but he's already said himself Southgate has instructed him to do this to enable Phillips to be more aggressive. Think if we can get him for £50-70m we'd be getting ourselves a very good deal, he'd stay the rest of his career if we allow it and gives us a leader, possible future captain, alongside other young players like Mount, R.James and Chilwell for a solid core in the group over the next 10 years. Helps too that he's PL established and already has strong relationship ties to our team so should settle in from day one.
