I seriously think we need to bring in an interim manager till the end of the season, if for no other reason, to keep us out of a relegation dogfight come April/May. While that might seem a daft statement I remember a similar situation in 1974/75 when we got relegated on the last day of the season. The way we're going I just can't see where the next win is coming from never mind the 5 or 6 that we need to guarantee safety.

I don't suppose it'll happen, but I think it would be a fitting gesture from the club to re-name the West stand "The Gianluca Vialli stand". It was built during his time at the club and was the last element of rebuilding the stadium while Luca and co were rebuilding the team on the pitch. They laid the foundations for the success we were to enjoy in the years to come, a major part of which was Luca giving a young kid called John Terry his debut while he was manager, and we all know where that particular career took us. A Chelsea legend in the truest sense of the word, but more importantly a great ambassador to the club and world football in general, and even more importantly than that, a great human being and a lovely man. Come on Todd, let's do the right thing here and name the stand after a man who graced the area in front of it so beautifully.
