i feared that. i admit it.

For sure plenty to learn from for next year. Still waiting on tickets to be released for the world cup. Dont know what that is going to look like. I did some things right in terms of pregaming right. I left home at the perfect time. I ate/drank just enough to last me through the day and not too much where I didnt have to use the restroom at all for 8 hours! I have a fear of public toilets. I have been to a million sporting events, so I have it down to an exact science. I got the presale for this tournament back in Jan, which was really dumb on my part as ticket prices plummeted! Even for the final. I def overpaid in retrospect. Oh well. Now I am going to 2nd guess next years world cup. Should I not jump on it early and grab tickets? Or just wait for prices to plummet like they did for this?

It was probably overkill. I got there about 2 hours before kickoff. By the time i did the festivities outside of the stadium and got to my seat it was an hour before kickoff. Time sort of flies with all the pregame stuff. I didnt care about the halftime except for Coldplay. I didnt know who anyone else was. I dont listen to todays music. Its all trash. I love my classic rock, 70s, 80s, and 90s. Real music. Love the Stones, Led Zep, The Who, Pink Floyd!

Just got back home. What an amazing match. I am pleasantly stunned. Atmosphere was incredible. Though my seats were high up, it was an amazing view in the shade with a gentle breeze. As an American, I am also happy. We love seeing French people sad and upset. :). I took a ton of mental notes during this tournament as I will be doing many games next summer including the final. I dont care about the cost. Ive been to 5 super bowls, world series, etc. Its just money. FIFA's security is insane. They actually looked inside my wallet. Who does that?! I have been to that stadium many times for NFL games and they getting off the train and in the stadium is so easy. But for this tournament it was way more difficult as so many areas were gated off. I took tomorrow off work to celebrate!

They sent a memo and recommended we get there 3 hours before kickoff.

GAME DAY!! About to get ready and head to the stadium. Lets hope for the best.

For the life of me idk how PSG lost to botofungo or whatever. lol

PSG look too good. Someone give me hope that we can actually win this. Ill be there regardless.

ONTO THE FINAL! Incredible atmosphere. All the BS Brazilian teams are gone. No matter who we play, it will be really challenging. But anything can happen in one 90 minute game. We have to play our best. I cant wait for sunday.

We def got the easier side of the draw. PSG vs Munich is worthy of a final.

What a win! Way too many annoying Palmeiras fans there. Im sure it will be the same think tuesday. Onto Fluminese next. We have to play better than we did tonight.

GAME DAY!! LFG CHELSEA!!!! Just arrived in Philly. Hope to win and will be taking a bus to NYC tomorrow for the rest of the tournament.
