  1. That IndyKaila account has to be the biggest click-bait merchant I’ve ever seen online.
  2. What is a Double decker?
  3. Reece James is amazing. Ten men for an hour against top-of-the-league Arsenal and our captain just decided, “Yeah, I’ll handle it.” Played like three players in one shirt. He basically ran the entire midfield. Every time Arsenal thought they’d found a gap, there he was nicking it back, shoulders out, just bouncing people off him. They kept trying to foul him to stop the counters and it still didn’t work. And that corner for Chalobah’s goal; delivering in a big fixture, with another of our own heading it in. Chelsea heritage. Reece can defend, pass, cross, shoot, he can play inside, outside, wherever you stick him he makes it look easy. People like to talk about his injuries, but when you watch a game like that, you’re reminded why the club backed him and made him captain. If we get a long, clean run of games out of this version of Reece James, we are so much a better team. Forget your “Declan Rice masterclass” headlines for another day. Yesterday was the Reece James show, and we’re so lucky he’s ours. 💙🫶
  4. From the angle we got, it looked perfectly onside; timed her run well, great finish… and then up comes the flag and that’s it. No proper replay, no decent freeze frame, just a quick shrug from the commentary and we move on. For a decision that big in a game like this, that’s not good enough. You’d think they’d at least show us a clear line or a couple of slow-mo angles to justify it, but nope. Nothing. Just “offside, play on”. It’s hard not to feel like it’s the same old story whenever we play Barcelona; every marginal thing seems to fall their way and we’re left guessing what actually happened. If that was genuinely off then fair enough, but from what we were given on the broadcast it absolutely looked on to me, and the fact they didn’t want to show it again just makes it feel even more dodgy. Typical Barcelona situation, isn’t it?
  5. Thank you so much for the warm welcomes, fashionably late to them 🙈✨ I’m still finding my feet on here but I like it; mix of chaos, moaning, overreactions and love for Chelsea, but not so much on Nico Jackson.
  6. Bit of a thought that’s been nagging at me; is anyone else getting the feeling this might be Millie Bright’s last season? Between the injuries, the time out, and how much football she’s already put through her body for club and country, you do start to wonder if she might look at the summer and think, “I’ve done my bit now.” She’s won everything there is domestically, had the armband, carried us and England through some massive moments, and you can see the game taking a toll on her physically now. There’s only so long you can keep putting your body on the line at that level before you start thinking about your knees, your back, your future life after football etc. I’m not saying she will retire, but I wouldn’t be shocked if, come the end of the season, she either hangs them up completely or at least steps away from this intensity and looks at a different path (coaching, punditry, or just a proper break). If it does turn out to be her last year, I really hope the club and fans give her the kind of send-off she deserves, because she’s been absolutely massive for Chelsea and for women’s football in general. Anyone else got that gut feeling, or do you reckon she’s still got another couple of seasons in her at the top?
  7. Honestly, this is the most Cole Palmer thing ever. Spends two months fighting back from a groin injury, finally looks like he’s about to be back in the squad… and then breaks his little toe at home by smashing it on a door. You genuinely couldn’t script it. It’s absolutely gutting because this is exactly when we needed him back in the team – Burnley to ease him in, then Barcelona and Arsenal in the same week. He should’ve been walking straight back into the XI for this run and instead he’s sat there injured again over a stupid freak accident in his own house. I know Maresca’s said it’s “nothing serious” long term, but missing another few games when he was right there ready to return is brutal for us and for him. Hope he’s back as soon as humanly possible because we need him on our dodgy December games.
  8. I get it. There's just something about his face that screams future ITV2 reality show contestant. Giroud would nullify most with a single smoulder.
  9. Too late, I posted yesterday having only read a few pages. I just looked at the new posts and thought 'Not today'. Did notnowjim ever get cockblocked by Jackson or something? They are waging psychological warfare in there. Feels personal at this point. I like your optimism.
  10. Exactly. The finishing was inconsistent, his touch was dicey, with awfully bad decision-making under pressure. Selling Jackson clears the way for someone with more bite up front in Delap. Raw aggression, proper positioning, and that ability to put his backside into every centre-back like he’s personally offended they showed up. So yeah. If Jackson goes, we won’t be weaker. Just… different. Sharper. Meaner. More direct. I’m all for that.
  11. Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Sienna - long-time Chelsea supporter, first-time poster! Been following the Blues since I were little, and Stamford Bridge has always felt like home, even if it’s just through my screen most of the time. I've been here to read some posts in the past alongside Reddit and Facebook. What are the popular threads here lately to have a read up on? Looking forward to a title race if we dare to dream… 👀 💙 Up the Chels!
