I've always felt that Enzo only really showed up for the biggest matches. He may have as many goals after 151 appearances as Frank did, and I know he tries to emulate the great man with his long range shots, but I don't see him as a player whose going to be able to ramp up his scoring rate to the same level. He's a leader by force of his personality, but he lacks the commitment to the team that I want to see. It took him a long while to mesh with Caicedo, while Gallagher had no problem. One has a fragile ego while the other doesn't. Chelsea have a lot of stars, maybe too many. I'd like to see him replaced by somebody who has some talent, but thinks a bit less of himself and more of the team. Quite a few players fit that bill.

I know all that. He only thought he'd be there for a year and he stayed four. We let him go, as in we did not make it worth his while to stay. If we're lucky he will come back as a coach. If we're lucky.

The fools that let Thiago go... total mutton-heads. They should stick to playing Championship Manager. Put him on the field today and our defence would improve.

Greetings fellow Blues fans! Being born in Wandsworth it was either Fulham or Chelsea. In my single digit years, I just liked our 1960s strip better. Blue is the colour. I've lived with the ups and downs over the decades. I've enjoyed the great successes, but I'd strongly prefer a British ownership, even if it meant fewer star names. But you stay with your team, that's just what you do. I'm now living in the high desert of the Shasta Valley in the far north of California. It's a long way from SW6, so this group is about as close as I'm going to get to my footballing home. BTW, if you like salmon fishing, the recently undammed Klamath River a few miles from me now offers some of the best in the country.
