Man City told to go whistle again..
I got almost unanimously slated for daring to point this out a couple of days ago. I thought it was valid then, and i still think it's a valid point now. Are Chelsea fans still 100% confident that their Mr Chelsea will stay?

Money, Man City and the Media Mindset
From what i can make out, most City fans rated him to a degree. Yes he has potential, and yes, he could well make it, but he had a tendency to be a little greedy on the pitch. I think he has seen what is going on at City, and saw himself even further down the pecking order than before. It's a shame in a way. 1 because he was an academy lad, and we always like to see them make it, and 2 he definately has potential. I wish him nowt but success... but not against us please. ;) My reply was really aimed at the Nedum speculation. A nicer lad you'll be hard to find.

Money, Man City and the Media Mindset
To be fair to Nedum, he is a very very grounded lad. To suggest that he's a billy big bollocks is just insane. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Man City told to go whistle again..
Just a notion, but maybe he didn't think he'd get a sniff, what with Tevez likely to join, and who knows else. I don't think he was prepared to stay and fight for his place.

Cheers. I know i appreciate other civil footy fan's viewpoints as much as our own. It helps to keep some sort of perspective. Hence the reason i'm here.

Man City told to go whistle again..
I wouldn't say it's staggering, (albeit i have very little history on this forum). The England Captain going anywhere is a huge story, so surely a few blues are to be expected, no? From the little i've read, most of us seem to be civil enough.

Charming. Nothing like a welcome eh.

Man City told to go whistle again..
You may be right or you may be wrong re Robinho. But i'm pretty sure we didn't just look at other dealings and think, sod it, let's hijack the deal. I'm sure the new owners wanted to make a statement, and they did with the signing or Robinho, but i'm also sure that our transfer targets right now are quite carefully considered. Or at least i hope they are.

Man City told to go whistle again..
I doubt us waiting on an answer will hinder any other transfer dealings to be honest. But surely by saying nothing it's creating far more publicity, no? If he says he's staying at Chelsea, (which he probably will), this story will simply die, and then the press will find something else to write about.

Man City told to go whistle again..
I'll be honest, i haven't been taking too much interest in those rumours. Obviously as a City fan, this story is huge for me, and so i'm reading and listening as much as i can. Press, TV, Radio and the internet. Without wishing to be rude to Alonso or Crouch, this is a much bigger story.... certainly in my eyes. But with the huge media frenzy that has been whipped up with the Terry story, and the lack of any real statement from Terry himself to quash the rumours... yes, i do find it a little odd.
-
Man City told to go whistle again..
Why do i find it odd? Probably just because he's portrayed as Chelsea through and through, and he must know it would settle things vastly if he came out and said he was staying etc. By staying silent, he's giving opportunity for paper gossip, and all the sh*t that comes with it. I just feel that he could clear this whole thing up in a minute... but he has chose not to.
-
Man City told to go whistle again..
I don't see it as that at all. Just because i find it odd, doesn't mean that he's obligated to speak does it.

Chants
He's here, he's there We're not allowed to swear Frank Leboeuf, Frank Leboeuf

Man City told to go whistle again..
I think all the City fans on here grasp it. I think we all know that he isn't obligated to say anything whatsoever. But i also think that it's odd too.

The search for a 'creative player'.

Man City told to go whistle again..
Didn't he sing "If you're looking for trouble... da da da da da... you've come to the right place"? :D

Man City told to go whistle again..
Fair enough.

Man City told to go whistle again..
Listen... i've not come on here for trouble. That's not my style. I've simply come on here to discuss and read about some stories that cover Manchester City and Chelsea... that's all. I am well aware what Chelsea have said as a football club.... more than aware. But i still think there's more to this story... hence why i've asked specifically if Terry had been quoted since this came about. As far as i'm aware, no statement has been officially released from Terry himself. Like i said... i'm not here on a wind up, and i'm not a "troll" as some were suggesting earlier. I come in peace, and apologise if any offence has been taken. I can assure none was meant.

Man City told to go whistle again..
Just asking a question! God you lot are tetchy tonight....
-
Man City told to go whistle again..
You'd have thought he would want to put the fan's minds at rest eh. The silence is deafening.
-
Man City told to go whistle again..
You mean he's spoke out today?
-
Man City told to go whistle again..
Now now.... no need to be like that eh. Just enquiring.
-
Man City told to go whistle again..
Still no word from Terry?
-
Man City told to go whistle again..
Oops... apologies!
