  1. i joined and now have left, but the posts, and i am not the only one, tells what it was like in the old days,i was just an observer, loads replied to the posts funnily enough, and a lot of it toung in cheek and in the dark alley it was me that got the kicking, loads of you would liked to join in i imagine, by the way moi not that long ago you was trying to be my mate, look back at your posts!
  2. no thats right i am not your mate ! As someone living in France i thought that would know what get 27 was, but then again probably not, and why get SO annoyed about postings, you are not obliged to reply and the site is open to everyone, even ME so get over it; BY THE WAY FOOT PLUS IS ONLY 7 EUROS A MONTH GOODBYE !
  3. Moi, miaow ! A bit touchy, leave the get 27 alone mate
  4. was this one of the best away games of that era ?
  5. coventry away , laces, yes and a long walk to the ground, always put in their end, and jeff blockley
  6. you are having a laugh ! I have canal plus and foot plus so i see every psg game, not mod as you call it every sunday morning!
  7. 4 yes without a doubt, he saved Chelsea and he took on at the time a massive task, but always had Chelsea at heart, after the Grimbsby game he was very emotional.
  8. ramires is looking better, thank god
  9. mmm, without Makelele we would have never won the league and even now is missed as is the german maestro Ballack, BOTH legends !
  10. you have just summed it up, apparently he was the guvnor at real and many of their players admitted it, as with last night nothing spectacular but always present and hardly a pass goes astray
  11. still hurts to watch that video, but as mentioned in previous posts if we would have won our last two home games against sheff utd and everton we would have stayed up, both 1-1 draws and we were leading in both, still the next season was the best in all my years of watching the blues especially those away games....blackburn,hull,forest,blackpool,york,bristol rovers, etc brilliant
  12. i have just had the pleasure of seeing Makelele in a french league cup semi-final in Montpellier which PSG lost 1-0, my son is not too happy, but how we could do with someone of his calibre right now, the man is class even now
  13. i thought that dennis waterman was a chelsea fan ? And can someone tell me why all these "cockney " programmes and films were based on west london, the sweeney, minder, budgie ( a fulham fan)and quadrophenia ?
  14. no, the other team that has not won anything for 31 years, has only got one song and still can't get over that one of their players went to join a bigger and better club
  15. i never went to support another team, just the opposite, you are always wanting the other team to score and the main reason is because of the booze and it was never when chelsea were playing. The most annoying supporters come from east london, and why do they hate us even more than spurs do
  16. jezza my son, it was the 74 75 season, no chelsea IN the ground, a 2-0 defeat, wilkins misses a sitter but that game did no send us down, but it did not help and at the end the shelf singing "bye bye chelsea" to the tune of the bay city rollers song at the time, probably the worst day in chelsea history
  17. cant remember that game but i do remember a 4-3 a few years earlier when we were 3-0 down, not many went up there
  18. one of the worst games against them was a three nil thrashing, all goals in the first half, i think chivers scored a couple and before the game chelsea walked round from the paxton to take on the park lane......... they never got past the shelf
  19. are you talking about the game in 75 ?
  20. went away with them on a few trips and abroad where i also met a couple of other Chelsea with them!
  21. funnily enough i used to know a lot of top boys at spurs in the 80s and 90s, and you can believe it or not, but anyway i could go to any spurs v chelsea game and after go in one of a few of their main boozers and get no greif, in short they were as good as gold
  22. sorry i forgot the song at the time oh when the spurs go marching out, out, out we hate tottenham, the best one though was to the tune of "grandad" sung by clive dunn? And it went west ham, west ham w..;;;ers, thats what we all think of you that was only sung at home games by the way !
  23. superb, it must be twenty years since i have seen that programme
  24. what is football coming to, said the programme, and after that Chelsea never went in there again
