November 18, 201014 yr I was there that day, infact I was stood about 20 yards from where they were filming. There was a lot of good humored aimed at him which he took very well.
November 18, 201014 yr Quite possibly the best TV show ever made. And you just know Chisum was a Spud.
January 15, 201114 yr Yep, I was there that day too...in the benches. And he's heading the wrong way for the office. :)

And can someone tell me why all these "cockney " programmes and films were based on west london, the sweeney, minder, budgie ( a fulham fan)and quadrophenia ? 'cos West London is wonderful. I can understand The Sweeney because every car chase had to end in the Imperial Road gasworks.

And can someone tell me why all these "cockney " programmes and films were based on west london, the sweeney, minder, budgie ( a fulham fan)and quadrophenia ? Well he certainly used to have a season ticket in the East Middle with some of his old mates, and I used it once as I knew one of those fellas. Maybe he's one of those older blokes who went down Chelsea one week and Fulham the next. Anyway, he could rarely get to games in the 80s and probably since due to his career.
July 3, 201113 yr The character Terry was a Chelsea fan - He's Fulham in real-life. There are quite a few clips of the bridge that appear in the series Wrong way round there, he was Fulham in the prog & Chelsea in real life, in fact in this episode Arthur says to Terry "but i thought you were Fulham?" & Terry replies yeah i am but their away today" so Terry obviously done what many did back & then & watch both sides when the other were away. One other thing in this episode Chelsea are playing Preston yet Arthur hides in his car from some football fans all wearing red & white scarves, just shows the researcher done his home work lol!!
