Neville Neville arrested on sexual assault charges ? If he carries on like that he's going to get himself a bad name.- Rio Ferdinand
Ferdinand has a camp? They think they have found a talking Camel- The Frank Lampard goal scoring record thread

FA rule - you cannot warm up behind the linesman- The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
I said the same thing leaving the ground yesterday. It's taken him 5 months (edit: AND A 20 POINT SWING TO MANCHESTER UNITED) to getting us playing like we did under Di Matteo, funnily enough picking the same attacking players, only with the pleasure of picking Ba, who Robbie didn't have to fortune of selecting. It wasn't that broken so didn't need much fixing!- Rio Ferdinand
Unbelievable!!!- Rio Ferdinand
Hodgson should publically say he will not pick him again as long as he is England manager!- Rio Ferdinand
I'd love Hodgson to recall Terry for these 2 games, and coax him out of retirement, just to mug Ferdinand off, with Terry saying: ''Roy called, and I felt like I couldn't let my country down'' - even as a PR stunt!! That'd wipe the smug grin of his camel face- West Hame game moved?
Looks like easter Monday - with us playing 2 games in 48 hours!! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2292730/Chelsea-v-Manchester-United-FA-Cup-replay-on.html- The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
What is it with these in-bred trolls coming onto Chelsea sites to defend a manager 'they sacked' against any sense or reason? Rafa this....Rafa that.....when they completely f*cked Roy Hodson over as soon as Daglish admitted he might be interested in the job? Were Chelsea fans on their sites? I don't get it - I really don't?- The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
I don't think I should be manager, however I do fell I'm in a position to comment (on an internet forum in the Rafa Benitez thread) on the current managers performances during his tenure, which have been the worst of any manager under Romans reign. At least when Jose slides on his knees at Old Trafford, or runs onto the middle of the Nuo Camp waving his fingers it is becuase he is part of what is going on, behind the players, mentally, phsycologically and tactically! Rafa's press conference after that draw was almost idential to his comments on drawing with Brentford ''Improve little things, keep on improving, work in training, on the training field etc. - its a rolled out mantra of an MP. He knew he'd just got out of jail really! We all know he's only here for the £3m, he did OK on Sunday but I belive Utd were there for the taking if the right team had started.- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
I bet it was fun watching the game with you yesterday. Hernandez - goal stamford_blue ''Mikel you c*nt!!'' Rooney - goal stamford_blue ''Mikel you f*cking c*nt!!'' Mrs stamford_blue ''was that Mikel's fault then?'' stamford_blue 'No he's on the bench'' Mrs stamford_blue ''why is he on the bench?'' stamford_blue '' Because he's a c*nt'' stamford_blue ''How were the goals his fault then?'' stamford_blue ''Did I say they were? No!! I just called him a useless no-good c*nt!'' Mrs stamford_blue 'But why'' stamford_blue 'Cos he is - trust me, it'd be far wosre than 2-0 down after 12 mins if that c*nt was playing!''- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
No mate - a Champions League FINAL where he challenged Drogba for Man of the Match!!!- John Obi Mikel Appreciation Thread
A big reason we won the CL last season was MIkel - wipe the turd from your eyelids watch his performance in that final again!!- The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
Hazard was starting the big games under RDM, we won away at Suprs and Arsenal earlier this season, and he started in both games. Rafa was moaning about the lack of defensive midfielders earlier when Romelu was injured and Jon Obi wan Kanobe was in the ACN, asnd was forced to play Luiz there, which the press gave him plaudits (this forum has advocated this for over a year!!!) We play Manu away and he failed to start with our recognised defensive midfielder, and gave the role ro Ramires. We were looking for a goal and he brings on his old pal Torres, 1 goal in 16/17 games now and that was against......wait for it......BRENTFORD!! That decision actually reduced our chances of scoring, sometimes its like playing with 10 men with Torres out there now, its sad but alas factually true. Listen don't get me wrong, His changes did keep us in the competition and saved the game, so he must have some credit, but did he bring the initial problems on himself? I think with Terry in the back four we wouldn't have been 2 down, and would have had more of a chance with the players that delivered in the big away games previously, ie Hazard and maybe MIkel starting - can I prove any of this no? but it's all about opinion isn't it? Or as my dad would put it, to coin a phrase,...........even a blind squirrel occassionally finds a nut. His Jose-esque celebrations on the pitch afterwards were very cringeworthy, high fives and cuddles, there is a shot where Luiz pulls away from his over-zealous grasp, and stares as if to say, 'what are you doing?'- Steaua Bucharest v Chelsea (EL) 07/03/13 KO 18:00 GMT
Something usually kicks in with us, and our team around this time of the year as we meet 'the business' end of the season, we get within touching distance and then go that extra mile to acheive it, with the manager eeking the very last drop from everybody, last season was the prime example. I don;t think our manager has been in this position at any time recently and therefore does not know how to handle the situation. Our form over the start of the season and the demise of Arsenal may be enough to squeeze us into a top four spot, because current performances and resulsts will not do it, we a limping from one bad performance to the next and it shocking, especially after the way we started the season!- Steaua Bucharest v Chelsea (EL) 07/03/13 KO 18:00 GMT
FROM THE MAIL: -looks like everyone has spotted his master stroke 19.30: From Sportsmail's Matt Barlow at the National Arena, Bucharest: 'Benitez has thrown on Mata in search of the away goal but Steaua continue to dominate and the Chelsea boss does not have many other options on the bench. Marko Marin is the only other attacker. Look out for a change of right-back though.' Herein lies the problem. He's leaving in the summer so the players couldn't really giv e atoss if they don't perform form HIM. It is down to the manager to get the best from the team and the players at his disposal. We have Torres who has scored 1 goal in 14 games (which was againsr Brentford) yet the manager keeps sticlking with him. We know its wrong, so must the rest of the squad at some point?! There are some games a players head isn't right, in that case dont pick him or make sure you get the very best out of everyone, that is the managers job. Sending a team out with motivation and desire is all the manager needs to do - it has been lacking for weeks!- Latest message from Gourlay
I dont think they have a choice. I mean we don't even know who the menger is going to be next year and season ticket renewals will be expected soon. Would you re-new with Rafa still in charge? or pay more for Gary Megson at the helm? I think the least the club can do is tell the supporters and paying public who the manager is going to be at the earliest convenience, before they go cap in hand to ST holders- What's needed for next season
I think what's needed to steady this ship is a trophy signing!!! Perhaps Ronaldo (the fat one), and sell all our other forwards to install faith in him. Bring in a club legend, like Zola to manage us but fire him around October when were top of the leaguye by about 6 points, if he drops 'the fat one'. Bring back Avram Grant as director of football - his charisma and tales of coastal massage parlours alone will improve our image and give Emanilo/Benitez partnership full team control, removing the interim from his title. Stranger things have happened......or have they? or Bring back Jose, a proper back room staff, a decent striker and leave him alone to win trophies!- Just goes to show..............
It's funny how everone in the media is quick to mention the demise of EPL and the rise of the German and Spanish leagues, whilst forgetting we are currently the European Champions, who beat arguably the (Spanish) best club side in the world with 10 men, thern beat Germans best in their own ground, with 3 first-team players suspended. Looking back, last season was a momentous feat of epic proportions, and credit to the players and manager, Roberto Di Mateo! - If they made a film of it you would say it was too far-fetched! - The Rafa Benitez Thread (merged)
