Stamford Bridge will be hosting the third annual Right To Play World Cup on 22nd May. It’s an exclusive opportunity for you and 9 colleagues to live out those playground football fantasies while supporting Chelsea’s global charity partner, Right To Play. It promises to be a very special day. 16 teams will battle it out to be crowned Right To Play World Champions 2009. Each team will get their own exclusive Adidas strip to take home and be warmed up by an Olympic athlete, before taking to the pitch for a 5-a-side qualifying and 7- and 11-a-side knockout football competition. As the day reaches a climax Chelsea Legends will return to the Bridge to play with the Cup and Plate finalists. All 16 teams will spend the evening in the Harris suite where they’ll enjoy a gourmet fish and chip dinner and sports quiz hosted by a famous face from the world of football. In previous years we’ve had former Chelsea manager Avram Grant, ex England cricket captain Alec Stewart, the Welsh rugby 7’s team, Chelsea’s Ray Wilkins, ex England rugby union captain Phil Vickery, Sky Sports Mat Lorenzo, and Blues legends such as Peter ‘the cat’ Bonneti, Ron ‘Chopper’ Harris and many more familiar faces available on the day to make the event just that little bit more special.
