They deserve it, Chelsea have got away with murder since their takeover - they deserve all they get.

they could not attract any major signings anyway before the ban and Roman has gone on record as he has had enough of spending so this will be a convenient excuse for them when we overtake them in the league etc!

Many thanks for that, Ricster, although we were getting up to speed and on the same track following Martin Samuel’s Mail Online article yesterday. What I find amazing is that, despite the origin of the piece, the Guardian chose to dig up a story about a 12year old being ’induced’ by Chelsea knowing full well of the background to events out there compared to the safeguards we in the UK [hopefully] put in place. Just who do newspapers like the Guardian support over this issue and why?

That article, though I have seen it before, is a real eyeopener Ricster so thanks for passing it along. I agree that the real victims in all of this are not the French clubs crying poor but the children they are victimizing every day, promising them dreams of football glory and then just chucking them into the bin when it doesnt happen.

Its a joke that clubs worth hundreds of millions of euros are being protected by FIFA in this scandal, and yet they are pefectly happy to feed these foreign children, who have nothing, to the wolves, as long as the agents and clubs involved are of the right nationality and pedigree in world football.
