hi everyone i'm new here. lived in london for the past month and am wondering where is the best pub for pre-match drinking near stamford bridge as i am going to the athletico madrid game tomorrow with a friend. i am looking for an intimidating chelsea atmosphere, the kind of place where the away fans would get the sh*t kicked out of them if they showed up. so which pub would you recommend? thanks.

I always go to So Bar across the main entrance of Stamford Bridge. Good crowd and pre-match atmosphere. Be sure to learn some songs before you go there and look out for celery ;)

I know there's a good crowd in the Butcher's Hook across the hotel entrance, but I've never been there.
