Ok, assuming that we sign no-one in the Jan Tran window, how are we likely to line up during the African Cup of Nations? I think today we saw some players get a run out that will perhaps feature a little more during those matches scheduled to be played while the ACN is being played.

Anyway, we will undoubtably miss Drogba, and we are already missing Essien. Mikel and Kalou can be replaced, particularly Kalou.

Anyway, I'd expect to see us line up like this, given that Carlo is adverse to starting too many youngsters

Obviousy when Bossy is back I think he'll start at RB, although I think Ivan should be left in there until he proves a reason for not starting. Alex and Percy to interchange, also.

Matic can cover for Ballack. Yuri to cover Malouda. Kakuta to cover J Cole/Deco role. And then Borini to cover Sturridge.

However, and this again assumes no signings, I think we are pretty light up front should Nico get injured again. Especially as we seen to be extending Di Santo's loan spell at Blackburn. I mean, who can we pull from the reserves, Mitrovic?

It´s just my opinion as I think we need to change something. Malouda and Yuri can obv rotate as well as Ballack and Matic. It obviously requires that Ballack will have to be more defensive as Lamps likes to get more freedom.
