Maybe this topic should be in the rumour section but I didn't know. So.. with all the rumours going around about players that could come to Chelsea, most them being strikers, what are some realistic names of players that play midlfield? This is the postion that Carlo should be concentrating on getting. We seem to have more young strikers (Sturridge, Borini, and maybe adding Aguero) that can come in than young midfielders. Matic is the only one that can truely play right now.

Get Hamsik

I agree Hamsik would be nice, but he is more of an attacking midfielder. He would take time away from kaktuta if the plan is to play Kakuta at the tip of the diamond. Also, he and Napoli have said he isn't going anywhere. He loves it there.

In my opinion, Marek Hamsik would be an ideal choice for the tip of the diamond!
