Until the last few years when the US became noticed in the world of 'Soccer' every 'football' fan around the world simply looked at the final score...who won and by how many. Now we have to endure stupid US statistics that they introduced in the MLS especially during TV broadcasts. Who cares who had more corners, throw ins, fouls, goal kicks, shots on goal, shots off target and assists...now theres a stat that needs addressing. In the frozen north...here in Canada our beloved game of ice hockey has a wonderful stat called an 'assist' which goes back to the player that passed the puck to the player who passed the puck to the guy who stuck it in the net....who cares? only the player and his agent...which is embeded in every US sport....it's all about money!...what has happened to our beloved game of FOOTBALL!
