Was looking recently myself. I think it depends on how much hard drive space you want basically. The difference between slimline and normal is just the appearance though i think.

The thing that i was looking for when buying it though was the deals you get in terms of what games you get. Obviously depends on what games you want but the ones with COD and FIFA 10 were the ones catching my eye.
