I really think there is something in this with regards to a deal for Costa. Not necessarily that we let him play and we get Costa, but i think the club are at least trying to build good relations with Athletico to allow for easier negotiations over Costa.

I saw a five year old throw a load of stuffed animals around once. Incredible passion he had. Mourinho is one of the best managers around, if not the best. Plenty of examples of that from this season and i think when we get a decent striker we are favourites next year under him. But blaming the refs like that (whether he is deflecting away from his players or not) is ridiculous and embarassing. We drew at home to west ham, we drew at home to west brom (with a decision in our favour), we lost at palace, we lost at villa, we lost at stoke. These are the reasons we wont win the league. Not Mike Reily etc. Unless of course we can find a way of getting Platini and UEFA involved in this blame somehow? We are a good team, we have a very good manager. But it doesn't look like we were quite good enough to win the title this year. Maybe Norwich will do use a favour and that'll change.

That was a bad performance from the players. They have not been good enough to win the title this year. It is embarrassing that some people on here are laming the ref and others saying we should sell half the team. That was extremely embarrassing from Mourinho and Rui Faria.

It is rightly a high amount of points required as there are very few STs available each year. It isnt every match though. I think if you went to every match last year you would have ended on about 135+ points, and the required amount was around 90.

Would definitley stand. Brentford away last year was my first experience of terracing (with chelsea) - it was brilliant.

Traditionally Everton away takes a while to sell out. There is subsidised travel this time however. But i would imagine if you want one, and log on for am on the day they go on sale to members then you'll be fine.

Arsenal and spurs you might struggle if you dont go to home games as they will go on loyalty points (arsenal definitely will). The others you'll be fine just being a member, but will need to be logged on early as they will go quick.

If you get to imperial early enough they dont check. But they definitley ask 1-2 hours before kick off for a match ticket. I've always had a ticket but im sure theyd let you in if it was obvious you werent an away fan.

The only idiotic point about his post is calling the bloke a part timer, as presumably he knows nothing about the bloke. However, i think the point of putting the Hull game on LP is more than fair. If nothing else, Jose's first game back is a "big game" and the clubs policy is to put "big games" on sale by loyalty points. A lot of people also paid a lot of money going around the country last year supporting the team, when quite a few others were saying they wouldnt go while Benetiz was in charge. This isnt intended to reopen the Benetiz debate, but it seems unfair that those who spent a lot following the team last year would miss out because others fancy going now Jose is back. The whole ticket policy is a joke anyway (eg 1 point for European away games that cost you £300+, but upto 8 points for a home carling cup game), you should have to use it to your advantage.

If its 80 available i would say there are a good few available. No idea why they werent hopeful. There will be quite a lot of members over 80 points, espicially given the cup runs last year. I ended on 97 points but decided to stay on membership as there will be a few games i cant go to anyway and will be much easier to get away tickets being a member.

You need to wait to see how many points they club say you need. If Mourinho comes in it will be very high. Last year after Munich it was 95 i think you needed. But the season before it went down to 0. I would guess this year if Mourinho comes in you will need around 75-80 points.
