The whole situation is a mess.

There must have been an entire chain of bad management decisions, other than not realising/admitting the stadium rent was too high especially in relation to bums on seats.

In theory only LTD has been liquidated and thus CCFC Holdings still exist. Whether that means the club is back up for sale again or the Golden share is just transferred to Holdings with SISU still in charge who knows. It still could mean that the entire club is wound up and will not play next season as legally they don't exist anymore, I think there will be a statement from the Administrator shortly but if they do manage to survive I expect a hefty points deduction and almost certain relegation this season.

 

More importantly, will Real Madrid pay the extra 20 million for Gareth Bale?

 

As much as i hate certain clubs i'd never want a club to go bust, we only just survived ourselves in 82.
