ATTACKERS INDUCTED

Posted on: Wed 11 Aug 2010

Two very different attacking forces from the recent era are the next to be inducted into our Legends section on Chelseafc.com - step forward Tore Andre Flo and Arjen Robben.

Both were key figures in history-making Chelsea sides, Flo part of the team that won the Uefa Cup Winners' Cup and League Cup in his first season, and the FA Cup in his last, while Robben helped us to a first league championship in 50 years with his electric displays on the wing during 2004/05.

Although injuries at times restricted his appearances and impact, when on form there was no stopping the Dutchman, while Flo was an iconic 'Super Sub', so effective from the bench in the later stages of games.

We welcome them both into the Legends section, and invite you to continue voting for those players you feel have had the best contribution to Chelsea life down the years - just click here.

Corrected a ridiculous thread title

Tore Andre Flo, great player, used to have him on the back of my shirt as a kid!

Robben? I wonder if this is part due to his achievements post-Chelsea
