Today, sportingintelligence looks at some individual club case studies, including Chelsea here; they have used 14 different players from nine different nations as starters in League games so far this season. The most common nationality of Chelsea starting players so far has been English (three, all full internationals), followed by Brazilian, French and Ivorian (two each, all internationals). Chelsea are the only Premier League club this season so far to start every League game with a full team of full internationals. Chelsea, along with Bolton and Newcastle, have used the fewest number of different starters (14). .
