Here's a good article about how our youngsters should be used more. I agree with this article big time. It is time to let Josh, Sturridge, Kakuta, Bruma, etc. show what they can do. Especially in a time where we have many injuries. If Bruma doesn't play CB before Ferreria, then when will he? If I were him, I would be pissed. Kakuta, in his 10 min here and there, has brought a different dimension to the game that no other person on the team can. Josh gives a playmaker who is very, very reliable. Sturridge has shown great potential, but never gets a single start.

There speaks a man on a mission. A little misguided I think. Firstly, Sturridge I think is injured. From what I've see of Jeffrey Bruma, he's just not ready. And Josh is only 17. Kakuta .. he was well off form recently. Hopefully he's getting some of that form back. He certainly looked a lot better against Bayern than he did the other week against Wolves.

Paulo at centre back WASN'T the reason we lost yesterday. Forget our injuries, forget Drogba's illness and all the rest of it. On paper that team should have easily been strong enough to beat a Sunderland team with an appalling away record. Not playing the youngsters isn't the reason we lost. We lost because as a team and as a bunch of individuals, we played poorly. We didn't do ourselves justice. These things can and do happen. And a knee-jerk "play the kids" reaction isn't the solution. That solution will be inititiated on the training pitch and hopefully put into practice come the next game.

Im not sure where to start on that. Kakuta simply hasnt impressed in the time hes been given this season, which can happen for a young player. Studge was injured on the weekend and has been injured on and off this season. Josh is 17 and throwing him in too early could cause him problems, same with Bruma. Now I might be wrong but I`m guessing Carlo knows more about bringing young players through more than you, me, every fan on here and also the person who wrote that article. How about we have a bit of faith in Carlo and give him time to bring our youth through.
