Posted May 17, 201114 yr With Fabregas in Cobham last week, I got thinking about what rules there must be in place. Is it against Premier League rules of a rival player 'visiting' a training ground of another rival for instance. I can't see it being a rule, but then what would constitute a 'tapping up'? Does anyone actually know the rules regarding this?
May 17, 201114 yr Think they are free to go anywhere really, obviously not partying and such whenever they want but cant see a problem in visiting another training ground if you got mates there, think torres and him might be friends.
May 17, 201114 yr Author But yet, Jose and chums were not allowed to take Ashley out for dinner at a hotel. Surely there is some sort of rule of what players can and can't do with rival clubs or there wouldn't be tapping-up cases.
May 18, 201114 yr Well considering its the end of the season and both clubs have nothing to play for, I'm sure there's no harm in any player turning up to another teams training ground.
