AVB cool about it and taking a look at everyone he has first - thats sensible, and he has RDM too who has seen our squad at close quarters

quite a lot of analysis has already been done about last season so try not to repeat it, but in a nutshell we lost too many matches cos we didn't convert our chances - so thats pointing at the strikers.............enter fernando PLUS someone to play him in..................Modric or similar - maybe benahoun if he stays fit?

we know AVB likes 433 so is trialling nico, kalou, malouda, sturridge etc.....................but we could do with a strong running right sided player maybe

essie injury may require a change in plan - but for me ramires would replace him anyway (I am not essie's biggest fan these days)

so to make way for couple new players................out go zhirkov, nico & kalou and impact roles for lamps & drogs - yes seriously

Honestly I can't agree with you, we lost too many matches because unlike in 09/10 teams found us out - just like the 2 most recent pre-season games against Pompey and Malaysia we continually struggled to break teams down - meaning it's a combined problem of our midfield and forward players - I have no doubt we'll score if we create a sufficient number of goal oppertunities - that was our problem.
