Now that football fans across England seem to be getting together to stop the absurdity going about in the streets, I came to think of this. Are there any English clubs that Chelsea are linked with or have a good relationship with (not thinking of Rangers and Linfield now)? I remember when attending a Kingstonian match, that there was a bunch of people in Chelsea kits, cheering for the Blues in the clubhouse after the Kings' game. In other words, Kingstonian seems very Chelsea-friendly.

Is there anything similar going on in the actual football league, with a bigger club? As a foreigner I haven't heard about it, anyway. We've obviously got Barnet and Arsenal, West Ham and Dag&Red etc. where people attend games of both clubs.

The Kingstonian thing is repeated at any number of non-league clubs in that part of the world, I'd imagine that if you were to draw an arc from Croydon to Slough that every non-league club inside the line would have a large number of Chelsea supporting locals who go along to watch their local non-league side. It's definitely the case at Carshalton Athletic, Sutton United and Tooting and Mitcham, as it was at Plough Lane when Wimbledon were the kings of the Southern League back in the 70s. Saw an example of this when I went to Staines the season before last for the Ryman play off game between Staines and Carshalton, the crowd was around about 1300 but in the clubhouse before and after the game it was just a lot of Chelsea fans drinking together.

Woking comes in to the catchment as it has always been a strong area for Chelsea. When they had a good cup run in the 90's there were some 10,000 fans away at Everton and a lot of Chelsea were present. I also recall a cup game where Peter Bonetti turned out for Woking, played a blinder even though he was in his fifties.

Alot of Chelsea get on with a lot of Arsenal. Having a mutual enemy contributes to this. Doesn't mean it didn't used to get willing when the two teams played. Same with Chelsea and Millwall (different mutual enemy).

Not just South West London non-league clubs. Wealdstone originally based in Harrow but lately Ruislip have a large percentage of their support that still or used to attend Chelsea games. Hayes Town (now amalgamated with Yeading) as well, I believe. Cardiff fans many years ago got a welcome they wern't expecting there for a FA Cup match.

I think there's a lot of Totts in Hayes too. On the Cardiff mention, I remember on the same day Chelsea had it with Millwall who were playing at Slough and Cardiff who were playing at Wokingham.......and as usual my memory is not what it was, but we might have even been at home that day, with a poor crowd and a sizeable number of Berkshire Blues having something better to do at the time ;)

Your spot mate, loads of CFC go to Carshalton/Sutton/Tooting, quite a few league sides fans found that out when their teams played at Sutton Utd in the fa cup in the 80s, thought they could come down & take the piss only to find every local Chelsea loon had turned out lol!

I went to that Staines game & am still gutted Carshalton missed out on promotion by missing a late penalty
