With the financial rules coming into play in the next couple years, what direction do you want this club to go in? The way I see it, right now the club is going on a path where they can be competitive (top 4) every year, but still be financially responsible. It seems like the team is putting more effort into bringing in youth and developing players. Personally, I feel that this approach is best. Obviously I want the club to win the PL every year, but I realize that will never happen. The club is putting itself in a position to be succesful.

City on the other hand is going in a direction like we were going when Roman took over. Spending tons of money and maybe even winning some trophies. Ya, it is going to make fans happy, but will it put the club in a position to be responsible and succesful for the long term? Spending money can bring results, but they are not automatic. I feel like some fans are jumping the gun when it comes to calling City a "massive force" and I still feel like a resposible club like Chelsea can easily compete a team like City.

I think it will continue to be bit of both. It ain't as black and white as you draw it here. Main aim is to fight for the trophies available and be in Champions League every season. That is where the big bucks are footballing-wise.

I think the path we are choosing is the one ManU is going and has been doing for many years. It is to have a good youth development system and now and again buy a big name. That is how they have maintained their status. If you succeed you can do it with in the rules of financial fair-play.

It is a balancing thing of course and certainly not easy but I hope we continue to aim high while still developing youth. At the moment our young players' department look impressive to me. That is thanks to Arnesen I think.

City is doing exactly what we did when Roman came in. So I believe they are on the same path we were 2003. Their problem naturally will be to play according the new rules. Who are we really to judge what they are doing? Let others judge them.
