Ticket help

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

Just returned to London from Scotland after over 10 years and looking to start attending Chelsea matches again and hopefully at somepoint getting a season ticket.

Had a look on the official site and after a decade of my SPL team doing anything to get you into the stadium I'm rather lost by all the 'membership' and 'loyalty points' and things like that.

So I was looking a some help or 'A Beginners Guide' if you will on tickets to Stamford Bridge and getting season tickets etc?

Any information would be gratefully received,

Cheers

Sco

Buy membership, get to as many matches as you can, build up your points and you will have a chance to get a season ticket.Simples.They were offering members with very few points season tickets at the end of last season.

Welcome Sco,

Stevo is pretty much spot on. Memberships aren't available now until next season. So the best thing you can do is to build up loyalty points as a member during next season and see what the situation is at the end of the season after as far getting a season ticket is concerned. They were actually offering season tickets this season to people who had a membership the season before with 0 loyalty points.

As a member you are pretty much guaranteed a ticket for every home game. The bigger games are sold on a loyalty points basis, but attending at least a few should be enough. Away games are sometimes sold using the same system and in that case you will be ok with plenty of points. When they're not sold that way, you often have to be up early in the morning (7am) to be guaranteed a ticket.

If you need a breakdown of loyalty points you can gain during the season check this out - http://www.chelseafc...,,10268,00.html. Cup games can certainly boost your points total as well.

A lot depends on how successful we are as far as away games are concerned. for example - I went online at 7.30am two seasons ago to buy West Brom away tickets and after an hour waiting in a virtual waiting room I missed out. This season (last week) I logged on at 9.30am- ish and got a ticket without any problems, they sold out at about midday. On the other hand, Everton away struggled to sell out the other week.

Living in Scotland too, I have faced the same dilemma, and getting a membership is definitely the best route to take. It's easy to get tickets for home games, having got good seats for games like v. Arsenal. As I live in Scotland, I mainly go to away games and It's easy to get tickets for any game north of Birmingham, I've found trouble in getting tickets for games like West Brom.
