alan'82
Still finding it hard to belive what's just happend in Munich, even now,I'm still waiting for some UEFA bod to launch an appeall!. I really never, ever thought that such things as League titles,F.A.cups & then, the mighty European Cup would ever end up in the Stamford Bridge trophy cabinet, never in my lifetime, not how things were, such events happend at other clubs, that was just the way of things. I'm truly chuffed for the younger generation of fans to able to witness such great occasions, (& long may it continue, hopefully!),but for the older generation,I'm particulary chuffed for. For generations of supporters, what happend in Germany is very much for them, those guys (& girls) who supported the club throughout the dark years, when being a Chelsea fan meant struggle & watching other London and English clubs sign the big players & play in the big finals and then having to suffer all the p*ss taking with good spirit. Back then, Chelsea only made headlines for it's "up's",(punch ups & f*ck ups),never for on the pitch glory. For those alive & well (& a touch more grey haired),or very much alive in our memories, that's for you,the Chelsea Family. Blue really is the colour. ws6blue
Agree with the sentiment - took 4 teenagers, 3 of mine and a boyfriend and they had the greatest experience of their lives and one to remember . For me, I took in the moment too, few tears, no voice, hurting feet after 3 hrs standing but absolute bliss....will live on that moment forever
