I've always believed Chelsea were a cursed club in some respects and stand by it. The last time I went to see us play Spurs at home my mate and I were talking about "the curse" and went through a list of all their players that had never scored a professional goal for them and stated he would score, we picked Sandro and yep, you guessed, it he scores an unstoppable 30 yard thunderbolt to give them a 1-0 lead. It's just what we do:

- Emile Heskey a prolific scorer against us

- Debutant Kanu coming on to score a hattrick against us in 15 minutes

- Emile Heskey & Titus Bramble being prolific scorers against us

- Lee Dixon and Nigel WInterburn scoring screamers against us.

- Nedum Onouha running through our defence

- Frank Sinclair

Even losing to Barnsley in the cup that Odejayi guy hadn't scored in 4 months and was their main striker, even went on to miss a sitter in the semi.

In the days when I started supporting Chelsea we were a team that could never beat Blackburn at home (the easiest of fixtures bar 1 year) yet also a team that would almost never lose at the most daunting of places - Old Trafford - where every other team capitulated and had a poor record at.

No matter how much we try, that little bit of Chelsea of Old will never leave us. Thank God I wasn't around in 82 when we beat Liverpool but lost to Rotherham 6-1 and 4-0. I guess it's just... The Chelsea Way
