Old Programmes

Featured Replies

Hi guys, any idea on the best place to sell my old home programmes ? Will try Ebay eventually I guess

Have about 150 in total, all bought by me on matchdays, years range from 1996 - 2002

All in excellent condition

Some notable ones include the Matthew Harding game vs Spurs, Chelsea v Liverpool FA Cup 4- 2, 1st Barcelona home Champions League game, Wimbledon FA Cup semi final at Highbury

Also have some away ones also

Open to offers

I'm in Twickenham, Middlesex

Don't think you'll get anything for them to be honest mate, even really old ones don't go for much unless they're particularly sought after.  I got the program from the first game after my dad was born - 1950 and that only cost about £5.  There's just not a market for more recent ones.

Good luck though and keep us informed if you do get shot of them.  Out of interest, why are you looking to get rid.

Thanks for the reply

I'm hoping to move in to my own flat next year so having a clearout of old stuff that will take up too much room, there's no way I will throw them out though, I will keep them if no interest

Still got my season ticket though

I may have a chat with the guy outside the ground that has the programme stall at the next home game to see if he has any ideas

Thanks again

I'm a sucker for anything Chelsea, I can't throw away a kit, tracksuit or anything else, my loft is full of crap from my dad's scrapbook that he made through to my kids old kits and things.  One day I'll win the lottery and have my very own Chelsea museum!

Thanks for the reply

Like has been said already mate, they go for no more than 50p to a £1 at prog fares ect

You may get lucky & find someone who wants them as a job lot to start a collection but its doubtful, my dad inlaw has been collecting progs ect for 35 years now & has a collection worth £30k+ so i know a bit about it.
