Dunfermline 1-1 Rangers

At their fifth attempt of the season, Dunfermline finally managed to avoid losing to Rangers, thanks in no small part to the efforts of the referee, who failed to give one of the most blatant penalties you're ever going to see, and chalked off what looked to be a perfectly good goal from Nicky Law, presumably for offside.

After a lacklustre first half, a Dean Shiels goal in the first minute of the second half looked to be enough to give Rangers the win. However, poor defending led to the Dunfermline equaiser, headed in directly from a corner kick in the 71st minute.

Despite the disappointment of failing to finish the season with a flourish, Rangers have the consolation of makinhg history by having gone the entire league season unbeaten, winning thirty three and drawing three, having scored 106 goals along the way, wrapping up the title in record time, to give a total of 102 point and a stupendous goal difference of plus eighty eight.

Rangers: Bell; Faure, McCulloch, Mohsni, Smith; Peralta, Black, Law, Aird; Shiels, Daly.

Dunfermline: Goodfellow; Williamson, Young, Potter, Martin, Whittle; Graham, Byrne, Spence; Smith, Dargo.
