What time would you recommend I get up in the morning to purchase Chelsea tickets.  I know tickets go on sale at 7 online but taking into account the virtual waiting page and the fact i have to leave the house shortly after 7?

It makes no difference what time you log on, as long as you are logged on by 7.  You don't get in any earlier if you log in early, it's completely random.  If you have to leave shortly after 7 you may be unlucky - you will probably be still be in the virtual waiting room with no tickets bought.
