November 26, 20169 yr Hi, I've browsed here, but not actually joined before today, as due to a family crisis we can't use our two season tickets for today's Tottenham match, and it's too late to sell them on ticket exchange. We'd like a genuine Chelsea fan to have them at face value (£40 each, they would have cost £56 each on ticket exchange) plus there would be a £5 per ticket charge at the ticket office for re-issuing today's tickets. I've spoken to the ticket office who will sort this as long as we email them full details of who's collecting. I could also scan the season tickets. Anyway, happy to answer any questions, or even speak on the phone, to reassure that this is a genuine offer. Worst case there'll be two empty seats today, which would be a shame.
November 26, 20169 yr Author Thanks for the bump. The latest is we've got friends working out if they can make it on time by train as they're out of London. Fingers crossed as we couldn't bear to leave empty seats.
November 26, 20169 yr Author I have two very happy Chelsea supporting friends heading into London from Essex, and the ticket office will do the rest. If the tube connections are good they should make it on time, and as they're friends I've told them to just buy us a drink next time we meet up. Now that's been sorted, I should do a proper introduction! I've supported Chelsea for long time (unlike most of my family who mainly support Arsenal), and my adult sons are big Blues fans too. We've had the two season tickets for more years than I care to remember (Matthew Harding Lower) and more often than not it's my sons who go, but I slot in if one of them can't make it. Today was an unusual event. I do love reading the live match threads, especially when Chelsea score, and now I've finally got round to registering will try to join in!
