I use my phone & I pad to visit the site mainly. It performs very poorly and is a right pain in the posterior to browse 

my PC that I use for work runs the site impeccably 

is there a problem w Mac users accessing site or am I just a techno- ignoramus ?

Works fine on mine, you might want to try this to see if it's any better, just make sure you are running the latest iOS....

 

Cheers Mod managed to do that on both devices. 

It's still web-based @General but might be a bit better, plus if you go to notifications HERE and set all to push notifications, then click 'Enable in this Browser' at the bottom, you'll get notifications sent straight to your device on mentions and followed content etc.

I really try and avoid pushing it but the ad-free option on top will make browsing and posting much faster too.
