Posted June 4, 200816 yr High turn over of managers in Italy, particularly at Inter + Fergie to retire in three years =
June 4, 200816 yr No, there is no bloody way. Well, there is a way, but I could NEVER see it happening. Keane is building the track record, and Hughes has it already. Those two, or Querioz will be Fergie's heir apparrent. I could see Sunderland becoming a stable force, and then Keane resigning in two seasons to take over as Fergie's right hand man. Plus, Jose would never, NEVER do that to us
June 7, 200816 yr Never say never in modern day professional football...although i too doubt whether JM would consider it..
June 7, 200816 yr i could see jose takin over alright. he is an ambitious manager and i dont think anythin fases him. hope not tho...also did anyone see him sayin the other day that he still supports chelsea and wants us to do well. god i wish he was back
June 9, 200816 yr Me too. And not just for his ability and stability. I will admit I found it hard to defend some of the things he did and said sometimes, but I really do miss the man. Those Adidas commercials during the Euros dont help From the outfits, to the casual, disinterested demeanor on the bench, to the ridiculous press conferences. I was just fondly remembering the 'voyeur' saga with Wenger the other day He was an original and he was ours. Lets hope Roman doesnt fark things up with whoever is next.

Plus, Jose would never, NEVER do that to us I'm with you, though even the possibility makes me shudder. If Fergie has any say in his successor I'm sure Keane will not be top of the list. Hope Hughes doesn't go there, though if he can get Citeh into the top five I'm sure his name will be called for by ManU supporters.
