  1. Interesting watching Paperview that today was not a one-off. AVB has decided to invoke the 48 hour rule with regard to his pressers so it will always be on a Thursday for a Saturday game. I can see the logic behind the decision but not sure i'm in love with it from a selfish point of view, i'm obviously behind whatever AVB thinks is optimal for the match preparation.
  2. Hadn't seen this, made a thread in Youths and Reserves. Milan is full of enthusiasm and will run all day, doesn't know the meaning of a lost cause. I think he'll suit at Doncaster with their playing style. I'm hoping he does well and it gets extended, i'm wondering if he'll go straight into their starting line-up and whetehr he will play wide or up front.
  3. http://www.chelseafc...2424851,00.html Good move for him, hopefully it gets extended. Doncaster are a side that like to get it down and play so should suit him. It will be interesting to see how much/where he plays whether it be on the wong or up front.

Hilario has kept a clean sheet for every two starts at the club.
  5. Hilario has kept a clean sheet for every two starts at the club, I think he gets a harsh ride. Anyway, after the performances of Malouda and Kalou at Stoke, coupled with Sturridge still being suspended and us not having got anybody in yet, i'd like to see us set out like this against West Brom... ---------------------Hilario---------------------- --Bossy-----Alex-------JT-----------Ash----- --------------------Mikel------------------------ ---------Ramires--------Frank-------------- -------------------Josh----------------------- ----------Didier---------Nando------------ with Bossy and Ash given license to get forward at every opportunity to create the width.
  6. I think you just proved my point. What game have United lost with De Gea?
  7. Shop window for Ben i'm afraid, he won't make it at the club. I think the Championship is his level.
  8. A few good performances from our lads and Sunderland were pretty decent as well. I think a few of the Sunderland side were from the youth side we beat first round last year but this side were much better at keeping the ball. I'd like to see Rhys Taylor get a move out on loan to allow Jamal get a full season of reserves football. I'm glad that Dermot has stepped up, hopefully some of his youth side do so with him, a lot of them are of a higher standard than the bracket ahead of them in my opinion.
  9. The drop in quality from Cech to Hilario/Turnbull should have little to no relevance to whether we beat West Brom and Norwich or not.
  10. How about both? I don't see why not.
  11. Noticed that too, there was a knowing smile there for sure.
  12. Spurs is a joke yes but you'd be foolish to rule out Arsenal just because Wenger said so, this is the man who said he expected nobody to be leaving Arsenal a few hourse before Fabregas was due to board a plane.

Not the worst two games to miss, hopefully he'll be good to go after the international break.
  14. Yeah like Flo except Mata does this thing every now and then where he looks for a teammate.
  15. Ferdinand never went a game without making a kistake before he was 24, it comes with the territory of being a ball playing CB. Luiz will mature into one of the best CB's in the game and he's at the right club and alongside the right man (JT] to do it. Take anything the media say, including criticism, with a pinch of salt. He will make mistakes every now and then but they will become less and less frequent as he matures, you'd still rather have a player like him than a CB who's default is to aimlessly hoof the ball 60 yards at every opportunity.
