    Has to be the 1983/84 promotion winning year for me , privileged to have been part of the travelling hordes to Newcastle,Leeds,Cardiff,Man city etc. We were unrivalled in my opinion. As someone has mentioned Arsenal away first game of the season was quality coming from what was an Arsenal stronghold at the time

    Remember as a 13/14 yr old going caddying on a Saturday morning to get £3 or £4 . Tube from Burnt Oak to Fulham Broadway (said we got on at West Brompton) 10p In the Shed for £1.25. Enough money for a burger and 10 fags(since given up the fags) they to are too expensive now. Only go to a few now due to money and commitments ,like everyone prefer the aways! What chance a 14 yr old of going under their own steam these days?
