  1. In spite Mata is great playmaker, he isn't Jose's type of player. He's too independent, he's don't have definite position, he's not really fast and powerful. And what's more important, he's almost not able to defend. If Mata losing the ball, in most cases not able to come back on time. That's why manager should use two holding midfielders to cover. Everything above Mourinho really don't like. Probably a year ago Mourinho was said that he isn't really impressed by Mata, don't ask me where I'm read it, I don't remember. I'm really like Mata and two times voted for him, but from reality Mata will not be sold this transfer window but it's looks like Mourinho'll get rid of him sooner or later. I also think the fact Mata still remain in the club only because of his popularity and commercial value (shirt selling, advertisement contracts etc.) . Also I think that first offer to Rooney WAS included Mata, but for some reason it's wasn't go through. Maybe because MU decided that they needs Fabregas more, maybe board for some reason decided it's not time yet. Will see what happen, I'm really hope I'm wrong.
  2. Uploaded some pictures from the match to Gallery: http://www.theshedend.com/gallery/album/107-chelsea-v-hull-city/ And here is video as well: And Lampard's penalty:
  3. Here is Rooney celebration after goals he assists. Tells a lot.
  4. Exactly! ))) I'm just uploaded video of Luiz penalty to show how it's lovely.
  5. Sat at the Shed Lover once on Nordjhelland match, at the row 16. Wouldn't advice that sits. Almost restricted view. Never again.
  6. Sunday I'm at West Lower near MH, Wednesday at of MHL. Usually I'm try to buy West Lower by half-way line. Managed to do it for Fulham.
  7. I watched Hull last season two times. Not quite watched, in background, it was on my tv screen. I still can't understand how they automatically promoted? They are boring, slow defensive team. I think as soon as we score and (if) they'll try to gamble a bit, we'll demolish them. Just need to unlock them one time. Can't wait, I badly missed Stamford Bridge atmosphere.
  8. Fisher Athletic. I'm working not far from Champions Hill and sometimes attending matches.
  9. I think there will be some 800-1000 tickets available for members, but you have to be quick to get it.
  10. Second half wasn't too bad, but it was Hazard who make a difference. Ba and Mikel was very disappointing. Ba shouldn't leave penalty box, it's only place he can be useful time of the time, he is one touch player and no more. Otherwise he is absolutely useless. Obviously last choice player for his position.
  11. According to Cheslea official website "Members are allocated 40% of away ticket allocation"
  12. Probably it's even a good solution. Better play it beginning of the season so far there is no injuries and fatigue than later when CL and domestic cups starts.
  13. We play Villa at the first midweek of the season, Wednesday, 21 August, 7.45 pm. It means we'll play 4 matches in 12 days on very beginning of the season, including MU away and Bayern Munich. Same old story. ps. Still no tickets information available.
  14. Gigi Salmon says that it's possibly not as bad as it looks
  15. To be fair, I don't see too much special on this game. Yes, it's first game of the season and first game of Jose second coming (first from many), but it's just Hull City, most boring from promoted teams (I watched two or three of their matches in background), nothing special in football means. For me it's just one more day out to support my team, which I have around 20 each season, no more, no less.
  16. Probably you right but it's just category B game. I don't think such kind of home games will ever go on sale on loyalty points basis, I think even category A games won't..
  17. This is the sales speed record I think. I'm not so long around, but since 2000 I don't remember ever ticket has been sold for 3.5 hours. Especially for newly promoted team, especially for category B game. I'm a bit shocked. :)
  18. After two hours got the ticket. Much worse than expected for, nearly on top of West Lower near the corner flag. OK, next time will be better, at least I'll be there.
  19. So, there are some news. First game will be definitely on Sky. So it's or 12.45 / 17.45 Saturday, or Sunday. Live TV games will be announced tomorrow: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2359747/Manchester-United-Chelsea-Sky-Sports-Liverpool-BT-Sport-opening-Premier-League-fixtures.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  20. Disagree. I'm working for Royal Mail so Saturday my normal working day. I have chance only for Saturday's late games or Sundays, or midweek nights. So, Sundays are perfect for me. )
  21. Tickets not going on sale tomorrow. I think this match will be re-scheduled to Sunday 18 August.
  22. If you want better and closer view - West Lower is the best stand, if you want atmosphere - Matthew Harding. Shed is quite boring and too close to opposite allocation. If to choose upper stand - East better than West. I'm usually there hour before kick-off, you'll have time for Megastore and for some beer. I'm not a big fan to drink before the game but there are lot of pubs around. Here is the list: http://thechels.info/wiki/Pubs_near_Stamford_Bridge , The Butcher's Hook is closest. Also you can drink inside the stadium (if not European match)
  23. Of course you can. It's category B game and not required any loyalty points. Actually, anyway, loyalty points isn't an issue at the beginning of the season.
  24. Hi It's extremely unlikely that tickets still be available by 15 July but anyway if you want two tickets next to each other you have to wait till 15-th. But, in this case you may end up with restricted seats (if still available) or without tickets at all.
