  1. To be able to play Mazacar and De Bruyne together.
  2. I wrote that I would prefer Illarramendi in the holding position but right now we don't have anyone better than Mikel.
  3. Why? Oscar and De Bruyne can both press and defend.
  4. Ramires and Oscar as wingers. It might work but the center is weak, I think.
  5. So Ramires is out of 80% of games and Mikel with Romeu are sold. Hmm..
  6. This line-up seems too adventurous to me. The center-midfield with Oscar and Luiz is too light.
  7. I mentioned that on my new topic regarding formations for next season. Agreed, both of them should start.
  8. Yes but he surely has a technical ability to score extraordinary goals (i.e vs Barca, United away at FA cup, Tottenham home league game, City home game a few years back).
  9. I think we should prioritize the team rather than individuals. Besides, Mata and Hazard can pop up anywhere in the final third. I don't think that we will miss Mata's skills in 4-3-3.
  10. Hi Moi. It would be pleasure for me but unfortunately I am a bit busy right now. Maybe in the following months.
  11. Hi folks, I'm a new one here and this is my first post. I have been reading a lot of discussions on Chelsea formations for next season and how we should incorporate Mata, Hazard, Oscar and De Bruyne in the same line-up, and decided to share my opinion on that. We still don't know whom we will get for the center/defensive midfield role as we need an upgrade to Mikel/Romeu and a striking upgrade to Torres/Ba. Nevertheless, given the players we have I came up with 2 alternative line-ups, one of which is the stronger one and the other is the weaker. I think the ideal formation for us is 4-3-3, not 4-2-3-1. Our strongest line-up is: ---------------------Lukaku----------------------- Hazard-----------------------------------------Mata ------------Oscar----------De Bruyne-------------- ---------------------Mikel---------------------------- Cole-------Luiz-----------Ivanovic---Azpilicueta-- ----------------------Cech----------------------------- I think this formation and line-up has a great potential to control the midfield. A lot of work is on the shoulders of Oscar and De Bruyne as they're the ones to take the ball from the defense and deliver to the final third. But I think both of them are capable of doing that and since both of them are only 21, they can only improve on their positions, especially the defensive side of their duties. If we can get an upgrade to Mikel in the holding role, there will be no more to ask for. I would prefer Asier Illarramendi as a replacement to Mikel. The alternative/rotational line-up for next season is: -------------------Torres/Ba------------------ Schürrle-------------------------------Moses ----------Lampard-------Ramires------------ --------------------Romeu----------------------- Bertrand----Terry-------Cahill-----Wallace-- ----------------Cech/Blackman----------------- This is a pretty good line-up to have as your second choice. Since we'll have hell of a lot of games next season, we'll be able to keep happy the whole squad and keep fresh everyone. I am all for giving Wallace 1 year at the club before loaning him somewhere in England or continental Europe, if there is a need for that at all. So what's your opinion on all this?
