One single solution to all the problems we have!
Actually, I saw some arguments just now. Sorry to those who posted arguments regarding the topic, especially cfcblue.

Everything that Mata's
This picture from the Basel game says it all about the relationship between the two. Remember how Benitez or any other manager puts his arm on his player's shoulder while explaining him the tactics. Here is a distance between Mata and Mourinho. It's like Jose saying to Mata "Just go and try to change something, show me you can do that." Hilarious!

Everything that Mata's
Just like Lampard who is useless in the pivot and Eto'o who also came from the Russian League.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
You are spot on! Benitez didn't have a preseason, so his first month here was basically a preseason. Plus, his squad was very thin. Not to mention, that the fans turned the Bridge into the sh*thole. On the other hand, Jose has had a preseason with a team with a ready core group and a strenght in depth. He has had all the comfort in the world. Where have tricky passes and beautiful interplays of our creative players have gone? All I have seen so far is running around and tracking back like headless chickens. But then again, given that our manager is Mourinho, I am not surprised. His current tactics and setup will not work against Barca, Real, Bayern and even Dortmund and Napoli. You cannot beat those teams without creativity.

I haven't received any argument on the topic from anybody here. Apparently this place is more of a kindergarten than WANGH. I will come back when Mourinho is sacked, make no mistake! Until then keep playing your toys, kids. Don't give them to anybody, and if there any intruder trying to break into the kindergarten, shoot him down. Adios.

Our strikers have less impact on the game overall than Mata would have on the pitch as a false 9.

I have no time for you, sonny. Go troll someone else or get back to your computer games.

Guess it's too late, somehow couldn't manage to delete. If someone can, let him do it there.

I wonder if you change your avatar after Jose is sacked!

I have never played Football Manager in my entire life. Doesn't your wrong perception of my name show that you are more related to the said computer game than me?

One single solution to all the problems we have!
After posting in Mata's thread I felt the need to make it a new thread which is not only about the Mata problem.

Projecting yourself to me? Well done.

If you are not gonna listen, don't comment. It's as simple as that. I certainly do not need a kindergarten (herd) reaction.

Why not?

One single solution to all the problems we have!
This kind of comments come from people who have no idea about football, and only judge people by the suit they wear.

What do you mean? How many goals our strikers have scored so far this season?

One single solution to all the problems we have!
I was absent here for a while, but recent developments made me come back and share my opinion with you. I was against the second appointment of Jose in the first place because I have never been a fan of his tactics. Given that our club was aiming to turn the team into attack and possession-oriented one, we definitely needed another manager. And as an early confirmation of my fears, after 7 games (including the Super Cup) into the season I have an impression that it's not the team that is trying to learn to play attacking football but the manager himself is trying to learn something he's never done properly before. I hope I will be wrong come the end of the season but right now I don't hold much hope. I firmly believe that one single combination can solve all of our current problems with the line-up. Here are the main problems we have: 1) Strikers are useless 2) Lampard in the pivot is useless 3) Mata is on the bench 4) 4-2-3-1 is not the ideal formation for this team 5) Our best center-backs are Luiz and Ivanovic 6) Right wing lacks Azpilicueta's pace The following line-up solves all six problems at the same time. ....................................................................... Hazard................Mata...................De Bruyne ................Oscar............Ramires...................... ...........................Mikel..................................... Cole.........Luiz..............Ivanovic.....Azpilicueta ...........................Cech.................................... This line-up has all the "usual suspects" on the pitch. As you can see, there is a triangle on the left consisting of Hazard-Mata-Oscar, players who are used to and like to play with each other. Oscar is better deeper due to his pace and high work-rate. Mata will play deeper than a striker but higher than central midfielders, creating positions for the wingers and occasional bursts of Oscar and Ramires into the final third. Plus, Mata is good himself in scoring goals. Hazard and De Bruyne must stay wide to create width for the team. Since our strikers are useless for most of the time, we don't need them as bad as we need to play Mata. Another huge advantage of this line-up is that 4 out of 6 attacking midfielders are on the pitch at the same time, giving all of them a lot of playing time. Rotate Hazard and De Bruyne with Schurrle and Willian. Rotate Mata with one of the 3 strikers when Mata needs a rest. Rotate Oscar and Ramires with Lampard and Van Ginkel. Rotate Mikel with Essien. This line-up should dominate and beat any team in England and most teams in Europe. If only the manager knew it!

Possession football for Chelsea in 2013/14 season
Now I start feeling myself in a kindergarten where some bullies are not happy with a newcomer who knows things they don't. Is there anyone civilized and educated enough here to discuss football matters? If yes, he can write and I will respond. Others who try to bully me can return to their toys. This will keep everyone happy.

That must be the reason why it required the moment of madness from Nani for Real to win the tie! You also confirm my point!

Everything that Mata's
Kindergarten sense of humor!

Everything that Mata's
1) In which of the four games they played with each other last season? 2) If that's true, then you confirm my point that Jose cannot win the CL with a big team that is supposed to play a possession football against mighty underdogs! Bingo!

Everything that Mata's
I also wonder that. Fortunately, I speak fluent Russian and will try to contact Roman in the future. Regarding other responses to my thesis here, I will respond when I have more time.
