Watford fan here. There's no way you'd have gone down, and even with the impetus of a new manager you'll probably not catch up enough to compete for the title. So you have to ask, what did the board think they'd achieve by sacking him? Now that you have, there's no chance on earth you'll ever get him back for a third time and you just know it'll come back to haunt you. Your board have made a serious error in judgment.

Festive greetings Blues, Over at the unofficial Watford forum - www.WFCforums.com - we usually do a pre-match write up, and as I live in Cobham I've put my hand up to cover the Chelsea vs Watford game in a few weeks time.
