Hundreds, but obviously confidentiality is an issue I really hope the reports of Cocu and his back room team coming to DCFC are correct and then I rejoice in Lampard failing miserably ……………………..

You guys have obviously been brought up on Jackanory Always loved a good story Blinkers should be removed now, and realise how in 10 days substantial trading contracts are sorted in half the time. And don't keep going on about, "he was on holiday" etc, you approached us for permission to talk

I think you are living in a dreamworld, but doesn't surprise me. You either understand principles or you don't

Again I think you are missing the point. When a contracted manager is given permission to speak to another club, that club and the manager should reach an agreement or not, in a reasonable time frame. I liked Lampard as our Manager, thought he offered a lot going forward, but both parties (Lampard and CFC) have gone down in my estimation. You either think you have handled the situation well or you don't. I know what most fans think

Wow you guys are really stretching this out, how long do these negotiations take? Covering yourselves in so much admiration as a club Ask to speak to a manager and 10 days later still no announcement, and that for a club legend. This will be the model all clubs will look at when approaching another clubs manager ……………………………. not

LOL But the problem is you guys don't run your club, someone else does and the issue is will he give him the time needed to gain experience and keep you in CL next season. Yes Lampard is a legend at your club, does that guarantee him time ……………………… only time will tell

Best 2 players, shows how little you know? Remind me who was voted as Players player of the year? Mount is class, Tomori has the potential to be class. Lets see who is regretting losing or gaining Lampard at the end of the season coming. I am not alone in thinking Chelsea are only appointing Lampard on the basis that they couldn't attract a top coach with all the uncertainty surrounding them. Don't get me wrong Lampard has talent, but he has made a number of mistakes during his year with us. So lets see at the end of the season if Chelsea and their fans are happy with the season or will their be murmurings of discontent. Having said all that I would have wanted Lampard to continue with his employment at DCFC because I genuinely feel he has a talent for managing. If that talent can satisfy his his probable new employers, now that's a different question

Oh for goodness sake, are you saying it came as a surprise?

Oh I am sorry in this age of digital communications and agents is it not possible to communicate whilst in another country? Our Chairman has shown his integrity in his dealings with Chelsea, its a shame it was not reciprocal Also if the shoe was on the other foot I would be equally as critical of DCFC

Gladly We gave you permission to talk to him 24/06/2019 We posted this on our club website We were back at pre-season training yesterday and had to issue ANOTHER statement giving Lampard/Morris a further 2 days to conclude negotiations with Chelsea and not to attend training Lets be real here, you were getting rid of Sari months ago, I am assuming you made back door communications with Lampard or associates prior to making an official approach, you can not try to say the time taken has been respectful to DCFC because it has not!

Not done much more, you are having a laugh! You approached us for permission to enter into talks with Lampard/Morris and who knows how many of our back room staff and still over a week later no announcement - Classless

Do you really think some negotiations had not been taking place to returning from holiday - please lets be real I think when another club ask for permission to speak to our currently contracted manager then it is remiss of both Lampard and Chelsea to take this amount of time. Our pre-season has started £4M compensation for Lampard is not really an acceptable reason to procrastinate for this length of time. I am wondering also if there is some conflict between the role Lampard wants and what Cech feels is right for the club

DCFC supporter Hi. I have been a little vocal on our forum regarding the amount of time either Chelsea/Lampard are taking making a decision on his potential appointment. Considering that we gave Chelsea permission to open talks with Lampard on 24/06/2019 I find both Chelsea and Lampard guilty of a lack of class and respect for our chairman/owner and DCFC We didn't have to give permission, but our Chairman was obviously aware that at some point this may happen - much earlier than anticipated. We as a club had to issue a further statement yesterday excusing Lampard and Morris from pre season training for 2 more days ! I would like an honest opinion on how you guys feel your club has/is behaving towards a fellow club?
