  1. Hi all, I am coming from Canada for 2 games. I received my ticket for the Mar 29 game vs AST but just received a duplicate confirmation email for the UWCL game vs Arsenal with no ticket in it. Did this happen to anyone else? Should I be expecting a ticket approx 10 days out like for the Mar 29 game? Ticketing is so different in the UK vs in Canada! Feeling nervous and worrying about a possible glitch. TIA!
  2. Ok I just found this which is showing March 17 as the on sale date? https://www.chelseafc.com/en/all-on-sale-dates-women- This is confusing! Which date is correct?
  3. Edit: I figured it out. You had to be logged in. It's not like that in Canada. Got my tickets! // Am I missing something? It's 2pm. It's Mar 2. Why aren't the tickets on sale? I'm trying to get seats for my trip from Canada!
  4. Guro and her eagerness! So adorable!
  5. Growing up, there weren't many opportunities to watch women's sports, or when I could, they were in amateur arenas, $10 tickets, almost no merch. So now even though it's costing me an arm and a leg to shell out $40-$80 on average for women's sports games, I don't take it for granted and take every opportunity I can. I wish Chelsea was better supported, akin to what Arsenal draws, but I'm beyond excited every time I can go to the Megastore and buy infinite merch (although I wish there were more women's-specific items! Last year i got a poster and the year before I managed to find a women's Champions League t-shirt)
  6. Hey all! Happy Holidays! I have been considering coming to Oslo for the Champions League final, but after reading about the ticket application process last year, I'm having some doubts. I was wondering if anyone who has been through it before could explain it to me. From what I understand there is an application period, but I am unclear whether it's first come, first served, or lottery style. The stadium it's being held at only holds 28,000 people, and I know the supporters for each team get allocated certain amounts. I'd be coming from Canada, so I can't wait until the general sale in May to book. Any insight about the process would be very much appreciated!
  7. I'm hoping it'll remain as it is as I'm going to fly in a day early to try to catch the match on the 29th.
  8. Hey all! I'm not new to this forum but this is the first time I'm introducing myself! I became a fan of Chelsea Women when Ashley Lawrence, Kadeisha Buchanan, and Jessie Fleming were on the team. The last two springs I've come to see Chelsea play, the first time vs Arsenal aka Sockgate, and the second time for their amazing come from behind 3-0 victory over Man City in the Champions League. I'll be coming this March too to see them play Villa at Kingsmeadow for the first time, and for their home Champions League tie. I'm a big fan of my local team, AFC Toronto, as well as women's hockey. I'm hoping to go to Oslo for the champions league final regardless of whether Chelsea is there!
  9. Hi all! It's your Canadian Chelsea fan again! Just watched the UWCL draw. Hooey we at least avoided Barcelona in the semis but Arsenal in the QF could be tough. Anyway, I was just wondering, presuming the CHE-AST game remains, I'd assume we'd play our QF match on April 2? Or is there a chance the game home to Villa could be moved to the Saturday? Looking to book my flights asap!
  10. Thanks! I definitely wasn't going to book anything until December 18. I didn't think the March UWCL games would be scheduled until the 5th-12th games were played because it might be affected by stadium availability for the involved teams?
  11. Bumping this. Last year they played City Sun Mar 23, Thur Mar 27 in the UWCL and WHU on Sun Mar 30 so I'm thinking it's plausible they could play LCL on the 22nd, champions league on the 25th, and Villa again on the 29th? (if they finish out of the top 4)
  12. Hey all, It's your befuddled Canadian once again, inquiring as I begin to very preliminarily plan my trip to London for March. I've noticed we play LCL on Sunday Mar 22, and Leg 1 of the UWCL QF is scheduled for Mar 24 or Mar 25. If Chelsea didn't reach the top 4 of the standings in the league phase, do you think it's more likely that the LCL game would be rescheduled or Chelsea would get the March 25 game to give them a couple days in between? I'd love to see LCL play but I don't have enough vacation time (or money, LOL) to come from March 22 to April 2 if they finish in the top 4. I'm trying to plot out different flight options as I'm hoping to use points. Thanks in advance!
  13. That second half was unreal. I'm glad Sonia rested some of those players -- we need them more for Thursday. That cross by Lawrence was classic. Kaneryd's speed is unmatched. Great second half!!
  14. My bag is slightly larger but given it's clear I've never had any issues with it. I can swish it down. It's mostly so I can store my knee braces when I'm sitting plus any layers depending on weather.
  15. Yeah I do hope they pick up the caliber but I'm most concerned about Thursday...
  16. Hey all, I'm flying across the pond for the UWCL game next week. I have a clear backpack that I bring into sports games here in North America with no problem. It's generally considered stadium compliant as it's not super big. Last year when I came for a WSL game I saw tons of bags being let in after working really hard to not bring stuff in. Do you think this would be a problem? Also can I bring any kind of water bottle in, such as a hard sided plastic bottle with an attached lid (Nalgene) or a disposable plastic one?
  17. Seriously. One of our best in a game that was far from our best.
  18. So excited! Footy on a Saturday morning! (For me here in Canada!)
  19. Good to know! With STH having first access I'm guessing I won't be at the front of the stand.
  20. Thanks @Munkunku I was also inquiring about which sections are covered!
  21. Hello! Excited for the draw this week! I have a number of questions that I was hoping folks could answer for me! I'm looking for seated tickets. Are there sections that are or aren't covered at the Bridge? Is there any way to select seats? I've never been unable to pick my own seats before except buying Chelsea tickets! Do the little booths that sell scarves and merch outside the Bridge take card? I probably won't get any GBP this time since everywhere seems to take card but don't wanna miss out. Ok I think that's all. Thanks in advance!
  22. Aaah ok! Perhaps Canadian stadiums have undersoil heating because Canada played a couple world cup qualifiers when it was minus double digits!
  23. Just curious, as a Canadian, what temperature was it on Sunday?
  24. Just booked my flights! Now to just wait for our opponent and tickets!
