Bag policy at Stamford Bridge

Featured Replies

Hey all,

I'm flying across the pond for the UWCL game next week. I have a clear backpack that I bring into sports games here in North America with no problem. It's generally considered stadium compliant as it's not super big. Last year when I came for a WSL game I saw tons of bags being let in after working really hard to not bring stuff in. Do you think this would be a problem?

Also can I bring any kind of water bottle in, such as a hard sided plastic bottle with an attached lid (Nalgene) or a disposable plastic one?

They will look in the bag , you'll probably be ok .

Dunno about the water bottle, go on the club website, it's got stuff on there about this stuff.

There you go......

"Please note our entry conditions in relation to bag sizes and a strict limit on the size of bags which can be taken into the stadium. No bags larger than A4 will be permitted. This equates to 30cm x 20cm x 10cm, about the size of a standard handbag. "

My bag is slightly larger but given it's clear I've never had any issues with it. I can swish it down. It's mostly so I can store my knee braces when I'm sitting plus any layers depending on weather.
