I predicted a 0-0 before the game and if Fofana hadn't had to go off the pitch, 0-0 it would have been.
Although we weren't terrible, once again I had no faith that we would score a goal. Just never looked like happening. Too light weight and no sense of urgency. Garnacho was dreadful, why oh why did we sign such a useless no hoper? Complete waste of space.
Our best player and the one real positive was Hato. He played really well and at times took the ball forward better than anyone. Needs to start every game.

Joe Cole talking absolute gash as usual. He's putting the goal on Sanchez for clattering Fofana. If he doesn't come Fofana is the wrong side and ain't getting the ball.

Bournemouth's threat was significantly curtailed when James came on. Fofana's composure gives a clue that he could play in a better organised team. But there are players that just don't add enough to a performance. Enzo has too many weaknesses in his game to be played this frequently. He scored but little else. As long as we rely on him as a midfield general, or any role really, teams will break through us. He's slow, goes to ground far to easily and gifts possession far too frequently. Delap isn't showing any signs that he can step up. There are others too.
Overall I think Maresca has run out of ideas and the squad lacks experience. A new impetus is required in the dressing room so I'd sack Maresca and give JT and Jody Morris the rest of the season. I'm serious. We've got absolutely nothing to lose. We are not a Champions league team and won't get relegated. I'm sure the players are bored senseless with Maresca's BS.
